Hi Everyone! I just wanted to stave off any panic in case you notice the Emotion Thesaurus Sample Entries are missing from the sidebar. It's okay--they are safe and sound, just moved to their own page. From now on, all posts and entries to do with The ET will be here: EMOTION THESAURUS.
The reason for this is simple...the sidebar is getting crowded, and we need to free up some room for NEW Descriptive Thesaurus Collections as we roll them out. So, from now on, please visit THE EMOTION THESAURUS page and scroll down to find all your favorite entries :)
Thanks!
Angela & Becca
OH! And today you can find me over at the QQQE blogging about Zombies. SERIOUS discussions going on over there folks, so hop on by!

Of course, if you buy the awesome thesaurus, then you won't need to check out the page. And why would anyone NOT want the thesaurus. I have the hardcopy and LOVE it!!!! I don't know how I lived without it. :)
Thanks for the heads up! Handy to have everything on one page. :)
I'm with Stina. So glad I have a hard copy because I get my best writing done without the internet. It's such a great reference.
They def deserve their own page! :)
I really need to spam everyone I know with a link to this book, and mentioning how my birthday is coming up. (It's not.)
You guys are the best!!! I luv you all!
Yay for more descriptive collections :D
Well that's a relief! I love them and use the descriptions all the time. Thank you :)
Great. Thanks for the information. I wouldn't want to lose the online list.
Clear away and we'll get ready for the next great entries!!
I love your thesaurus!
I refer to it all the time when I'm writing my novel.
I even wrote a blog post about it to try to teach aspiring writers how to show emotions in their characters.
How to show Emotions in your Characters
This has got to be one of THE BEST blogs for writers!! Why has it taken me this long to discover it?!??
Soooo impressed, I ordered the Emotion Thesaurus (can't have enough books!), arrived this weekend and I have been using it practically non-stop :D
Thank you lots and lots for the blog and the book!! Me happy :D
@ Francene Yes we didn't want to have to take them all down either when we released the book, so we found a way to keep some content up as an example so people know what we cover in the book (only much more in depth and better organized).
Thanks Traci, Bonnee & Shelley!
John, I just stopped in. Showing is so much better than telling, isn't it?
Joy, so glad you found us, and it's great to hear how useful the book is to you. We hope it continues to be a helpful writing partner to you on all your writing projects!
Makes perfect sense to me. I now have the Thesaurus in my Kindle... but I still want a hard copy too!
Zombies are so in right now. It's like riding a wave of undead goodness.
Thanks for the heads-up! And YAY for zombies.
I'm visiting on 10/24 and the link to the emotion thesaurus page doesn't work.
