Hi Musers!I'm guest posting over at The Sharp Angle, talking about why blogging can be a smart move for writers thinking PLATFORM, and how blogging can really jump start a writer's online presence.
In the post I outline the 5 TYPES of blogs that are attractive to a 'writer' audience, so if you're looking for areas to focus on for your blog content, please do check it out. :)
Once again, thank you so much to everyone who sent their well wishes and understanding my way this last week. My husband is out of the hospital and doing fine now. In fact, he made it onto the golf course this weekend, so I'd say he's well on his way back to feeling 100%.
I hope everyone had a great long weekend. :)

Oh Angela, I have to say that before I started my blog, your comments were by far the most helpful of everyone I spoke with regarding this topic. I am so pleased that you are guest blogging on this - you obviously are the perfect choice:-)
Congrats on the guest post! Am heading over there now:)
I'm so glad your husband is doing better.
Loved your guest post! Thanks for the great information, as always.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and for letting us know about the powerful book that had such an impact on your life.
Well done - I am impressed. Makes me wanna go get my own blog ( maybe not quite yet!) Glad hubby is out of the hospital & back on the golf course!

Perfect topic for you, Angela! With the great success of The Bookshelf Muse, you're well qualified to speak on this. :)

You guys are going to give me a fat head, you know that? LOL, thanks so much for all the kind words. I'm glad to help! I have learned so much from all of you as well--thanks for always being so giving with what you know and your willingness to help others. :)
Thanks for the visit, Shauna (anonymous).
Aside: Shauna knows me in Real Life and will absolute attest to the fact that I am mostly normal and do not actually keep a horde of zombies in my shed, regardless of how much I would like to. Uh, right Shauna?
I'm on my way over! :-)
It's nice to hear your hubby is doing better.
Sounds like a great post! Heading over!

Yes, I have seen the great Angela in the flesh, and can attest to the fact that there are no zombies in her shed, 'cause they are all partying in her hot tub.
Hmm - Did that help U much?

I'm so glad to hear that your husband is well and out of the hospital. I read your previous post first tonight (yes, I'm a bit behind) and was worried for him.
Glad your husband is feeling better! I loved your guest post.
Platform used to be for nonfiction writers. Now it's for all writers. Thanks for blogging on the subject.
